What’s up, runners?! 🍂🦃🍁🍃
The holiday season is here and we tend to do a lot of reflection on the things that we are grateful for. 🙏
Hopefully this is something that you do throughout the year because practicing gratitude is strongly linked to lasting well-being and happiness.
Studies show that fostering a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the positive aspects of our lives has a powerful impact on our own happiness level.
By shifting our focus towards the good in our lives, research suggests we can become much happier. ☀️

Other keys to lasting happiness
👫 Kindness and compassion
🤗 Self-compassion
🌼 Mindfulness
🌟 Optimism
👯♀️ Interpersonal connection
❤️🩹 Forgiveness
💪 Using our strengths
☕ Savoring positive experience
🧴Caring for our bodies and health
Ask yourself:
- Are you doing any of the things listed above?
- Do you need to do more of one or a couple of them? (Try to not stress yourself out by choosing too many)
- How can you sprinkle doing more of these things into your week?
I’m here to help
Boosting happiness is one of the things that I help people do. I love discussing this topic.
I also tie it into the benefits of exercise (or movement) and being outdoors. It might be safe to say that those are things we all enjoy.

A little about mindset and mental wellness coaching
For coaching, people work with me for about 2-3 months up to a few years. It depends on their goals and what things they’ve got going on in life. 2-3 months is probably the minimum commitment because we want to allow enough time for new habits to form and to make solid progress towards long-term goals.
The people who have been working with me for years, we started out meeting weekly, and then spread out meeting as we made progress. They tend to meet with me once per month.
These are 20-30 minute and 50-60 minute 1:1 sessions. 😊
Coaching is non-clinical and it isn’t therapy.
Again, I’m here to help. Let me know if you have any questions about potentially teaming up.
Have a happy Thanksgiving 🧡

Will you support me in my mission to help others?
One of my many goals is to increase mental health awareness, the availability of free resources, and the access to services.
If you value my free mental health content, it would mean a lot to me if you would “like,” share, or Buy Me a Coffee.
This helps people find my free content and allows me to continue providing free content.
Thanks for being a part of my mission.
Happy running,
