A little about Bali Secrets if you’re not familiar with them

This article is my personal review of three of their products that I’ve been using for a number of months. The Happy Body Butter and two of their natural deodorants.
Side note, I am vegan and I like to purchase natural products from companies who care. If the business is small and or local, I find it even more fun to support them!

Happy Body Butter
During my pregnancy, I was looking for a lotion that would help prevent or reduce stretch marks. I mentioned to my mom that I was searching for a lotion. Days later, I received a surprise package from my mom. – She’s the greatest! She purchased Happy Body Butter and had it delivered to my doorstep.
Happy Body Butter is “Pure love for your skin.” It is whipped and fluffy, as it claims on the container. The label is clean looking and easy to read. Using a little bit of this lotion goes a long way. The ingredients include Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Almond oil protect and nourish. Lavender, Pink Grapefruit, Vetiver oils sooth and calm. It smells good, the Lavender and Pink Grapefruit come through. The oils make it easy to spread, and then it only takes a short time for them to absorb into my skin.
While scooping the lotion out of the container, I would get it under my fingernails if I wasn’t careful. A little wooden or bamboo spreader would be the perfect tool to scoop it out of the container.
Overall, the Happy Body Butter makes my skin feel good. I went through two containers during my pregnancy and I’ll continue to use the product. By the way, I didn’t get any stretch marks.
Bali Secrets Natural Deodorant (Summer Love and Wild Wood scents)
When I opened the package, my first impressions were positive. The size of the liquid natural deodorants is 2.5 fl oz. The product label is easy to read. My deodorants came with a cute, tiny, paper manual (yes, seriously.) containing tips for getting the most out of it. I found this insightful, as it was my first time using a liquid deodorant. Two tips, for example, are not to apply it to your underarms immediately after shaving, it is best to wait to avoid burning. Definitly heed this tip. The second tip was to be aware that if you traveled with it, the liquid could leak out, as the product design is roll-on, not fully sealed.
A few of natural ingredients are Seaweed, Natural Mineral Salt, Aloe Vera and water.
The scents of Wild Wood (Sandalwood and Patchouli) and Summer Love (Lemongrass and Pink Grapefruit) smell tropical and reminds me of the beach.
I run and workout quite frequently, I found over time that I only need to apply the deodorant 1-3 times per day, the ingredients work well with my body’s chemistry.
Bali Secrets has some good stuff, they make other products that are tempting to try.
